EuRA conference in Vienna – The annual EuRA Conference was held this year in Vienna, Austria. LUXEMBOURG CULTURE TIP

Summer in Luxembourg is filled with interesting events. You just have to know where to look…
In June we have the national day celebration starting the evening of June 22nd. It is dubbed the Grand Duke’s birthday but is not really the actual day… the restaurants and cafes are all open later than usual and there is a fantastic firework display on the bridge over the Petrusse valley. There is a music concert in the Place Guillaume following and it is the perfect event to meet the locals “in action”.

We recommend another event which takes a place in the north of the country in a village called Vianden. Many tourists recognize the castle in this area. During August this village holds their annual medieval celebration starting the second week of the month. You can reserve to join in for medieval meal during the festival and experience daily life of the Knights and citizens of the time period.

If something more upbeat suits you then annual event "Schouberfouer" will come to town around August 20th.This event includes roller coasters, games, music, and fun .The Parking lot "Glacis" is converted for 3 weeks with locals and tourists alike, coming to enjoy the atmosphere during this special time.

We are organizing the Integreat 10+ Year Anniversary to take place just before summer break. Invitations will be sent out shortly. TAKE TIME TO DO SOMETHING GREAT

Integreat has taken special interest in supporting the group “Friends of Gambia”. The local charity is currently searching financial contribution to send a container over this summer for items and reserves for the new school and the orphanage being built at present.
